Brooklyn Apartment Listed For $725,000
The childhood home of legendary hip-hop star Notorious B.I.G. went on the market for sale this week. According to The Daily Intelligencer, the Clinton Hill apartment is being listed for $725,000. Tour buses are a constant fixture, as fans have traveled to view the dwelling where the legendary rapper was raised. The three-bedroom, one bathroom unit on Saint James Street was previously sold in 2004 for over $420,000.
Listing agent Judith Lief was asked if she knew of the domicile's history. "You must be kidding. I amm" she told the Daily Intelligencer.
"The tour buses that come by regularly are enough," she said. "I don't really know yet what impact, if any, [Biggie's history] will have on the sale. I think it'll be notable, but I don't know if novelty translates to a purchase.
